Born in 1972, Rachel lived in Emsworth for 18 years, until she studied and then worked as a Nanny, working and travelling around the South of England and abroad looking after 13 children and their families.
In 2009, Rachel moved back to the area. Now living in Havant, she is married with two sons. Until recently, Rachel worked in the local school as a Teaching Assistant, as well as helping run her husband’s company, and until then painted pet portraits as a sideline.
During lockdown and in between home schooling, Rachel had the time to create a considerable collection of miniature paintings depicting local attractions and her love of the sea.
Some of these have now gone to print, and she is currently working on other artistic endeavours, such as creating more marine inspired work, local themes and craft ideas that inspire her.
